Just a thought by coppi – year 2015

The light of God surrounds me; The love of God enfolds me; The power of God protects me; The presence of God watches over me; wherever I am, God is.

“Don’t fear tomorrow, God is already there.”

After spending a year in Oklahoma, I was moving back to Dallas, Tx., full of fear & the unknown.  I presume the young man who was moving me, picked up on my fears; He handed me a card with the above quote on it.  Goodness do I ever realize when one is stressed to the limit, it’s very hard to believe, God is anywhere & that He will meet your every need.  One of the things that helped me when I was in Dallas was I had three friends who met every Monday night to pray & I, at that time, was on the top of their list.  I was there one Monday night & will never forget them praying ….a job that I would love would come my way…..the next morning, another dear friend called me & told me about an job opening at Adams Golf.  I applied & was hired. I worked for Adams Golf ten years until I married a wonderful man from Tampa, Florida.  Yes, there were times of crying, worry, & loneliness but God was there…Ps 58:8 you keep track of all my sorrows.  You have collected all my tears in your bottle.  You have recorded each one in your book.  Sometimes, life will throw us lemons & I guess it is up to us to make lemons into lemonade ….it is not easy squeezing those lemons BUT Jesus will help us squeeze!
